Tamkeen and EY MENA Join Forces to Boost Bahrain's Talent Landscape

In a significant move to enhance job opportunities and skill development in Bahrain, Tamkeen has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EY MENA during the Gateway Gulf 2026 event. This partnership aims to establish an EY Talent Hub in Bahrain, which is projected to create 125 quality jobs over the next three years, specifically targeting local Bahrainis.

The Vision Behind the Initiative

The EY Talent Hub is envisioned to support clients across Bahrain and the wider MENA region by providing specialized professional services in audit, consulting, tax, strategy, and transactions. This initiative not only aims to fill current job vacancies but also strives to enhance the skill sets of Bahrain's workforce, preparing them for the jobs of the future.

From 2027 to 2029, this three-year program will work on attracting and developing local talent, particularly targeting recent graduates and individuals entering the labor force. The focus will be on core competencies such as:
  • - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • - Digital Transformation
  • - Cybersecurity
  • - Sustainability
  • - Financial Services

By equipping local professionals with practical experience and advanced skill sets, the initiative seeks to meet the growing demands for specialized talent in high-growth sectors, thereby augmenting Bahrain's position as a center for professional services.
