Canadian Pacific Kansas City Sets New Grain Transportation Record

In a remarkable achievement, Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has announced a record-breaking achievement in grain transportation for the 2025-2026 crop year. CPKC successfully transported an astonishing total of 30.66 million metric tonnes (MMT) of Canadian grain and grain products, surpassing the previous record from the 2020-2021 crop year by approximately 72,500 metric tonnes.

Comparative data showcases that the total volume transported during this crop year is 11% higher than the previous crop year, 16% higher than the three-year average, and a remarkable 20% higher than the five-year average. CPKC set records in all quarters of 2026, including multiple monthly records in January, February, April, May, and June, further solidifying its leadership in the sector.
