Overcoming Labor Shortages in the Logistics Industry

On May 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, CRE Co., Ltd. will host a free seminar titled “Overcoming Labor Shortages in the Logistics Industry: Effective Strategies and Success Stories” at the CIVI Kitakita Training Center in Osaka.

After about six years, the CRE Forum returns to Osaka, a crucial area for logistics in Kansai. This seminar aims to tackle the pressing challenges the industry faces today regarding chronic labor shortages.

The logistics sector is confronting various issues: the aging workforce of drivers and warehouse staff, the labor time restrictions posed by the 2024 problem, and structural changes due to revisions in labor regulations. These challenges cannot be resolved by merely continuing previous practices and require a fresh approach.

During this seminar, participants will be presented with concrete strategies and real-life case studies on how to sustain business operations despite such adversities. The event emphasizes viewing labor shortages as “a starting point for transformation,” thus redefining the way logistics businesses may operate moving forward.

Mr. Kunihiko Maki

• - Founder of Advice Plus

- Joined Wacoal Corporation in 1979.
- Served as Executive Officer and Head of Business Promotion Division at Wacoal Career Service in 2002.
- Became CEO of Tokai Wacoal Sewing Co. in 2006.
- Held various management positions within Wacoal until founding Advice Plus in 2021.
