Tamarack Resort to Reopen Tamarack Express Chairlift
Donnelly, Idaho – Tamarack Resort has confirmed the anticipated reopening of the Tamarack Express chairlift on July 4th, ahead of its scheduled reopening on July 8th. This early launch is just in time for the Independence Day holiday weekend, promising recreational opportunities for both locals and visitors.
The recently repaired lift will facilitate access to a range of summer activities, including mountain biking, scenic hikes, and visits to the Mid-Mountain Lodge. Utilizing cutting-edge technology and expert construction, the lift tower replacement was successfully completed in collaboration with lift manufacturer
Leitner-Poma and involved several local partners like Granite Excavation, ALLWEST Testing Engineering, Knife River, and Salmon River Helicopters.
Kara Finley, Chief Operating Officer of Tamarack Resort, assured that "safety has been our top priority throughout this process." The thorough inspections and close collaboration with Leitner-Poma ensured that every operational standard was met, gaining full approval to resume lift operations.
