Introducing Two Innovative Projects at 100BANCH



In January 2026, two ambitious projects, Clouva and Lumiskin, became part of the GARAGE Program's 102nd cohort at 100BANCH. This initiative aims to create new values for future generations under the concept of a “laboratory for enriching the world 100 years ahead.” Both projects are an embodiment of how young leaders are leveraging innovative ideas to tackle contemporary challenges.

Clouva: Transforming Weather Information into Action



Clouva is reimagining the way we interact with weather data, shifting from passive notifications to active guidance. It aims to foster a society where “weather is no longer an enemy but a friend.” Recent climate variations and extreme weather conditions have raised serious fears and disrupted lives. Despite advancements in technology to detect risks early, Japan faces a significant issue: fewer than 20% of people take action even when warnings are issued. This highlights a fundamental challenge that remains — the need to convert information into actionable steps. Clouva seeks to remedy this by developing an intuitive weather interface that encourages proactive behaviors, enabling individuals to protect themselves more effectively in the face of adverse conditions.

Lumiskin: Celebrating Diversity in Skin Tone



Lumiskin aims to create a future that celebrates diversity in skin tones, especially focusing on individuals with darker skin. By harnessing the power of cosmetics and community-building, Lumiskin targets people with African roots and those who have tanned skin in Japan. Through the sale of dark tone cosmetics and the sharing of pertinent information via social media platforms, Lumiskin aspires to foster a more supportive environment where individuals can embrace their beauty.

The project not only advocates for increased representation within the cosmetics industry but also facilitates community events allowing people with similar experiences to connect. Lumiskin understands the importance of solidarity in addressing the feeling of marginalization that many darker-skinned individuals experience daily. The GARAGE Program
