GEMStartup TOKYO is structured around three principal programs that encourage entrepreneurial endeavors:

These programs are designed to guide participants through the stages of business development, offering lectures, workshops, and mentoring sessions led by entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry professionals. 1. New Business Creation Platform
This program is targeted at individuals eager to create new businesses using resources and assets from large corporations. The curriculum, running from May 28, 2024, to February 2025, consists of approximately 20 lectures and workshops, mock pitches, individual support sessions, and networking events. Participants will engage in phases from exploring business ideas to establishing and verifying business models, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, and gaining practical experience.
2. Commercialization Program
Focusing on those who already possess business ideas leveraging corporate resources, this program aims to facilitate commercialization through corporate spin-offs and similar initiatives. From May 28, 2024, to February 2025, the program entails around 30 workshops, personal mentoring sessions, and matching events, culminating in a presentation event where participants pitch to potential funders, collaborators, and media outlets.
3. Collaborative Model for Corporate Support
This element of the initiative is designed for business administrations within corporations looking to promote new business ventures. It provides a curriculum aimed at enhancing the framework necessary for new business development and supporting internal business contests and stage gate processes within companies.
