The 9th Exhibition: 'The Dawn of Beauty - Contemporary Nihon Ten'
From October 23 to November 3, the Seiko House Hall in Ginza will host the ninth iteration of "The Dawn of Beauty - Contemporary Nihon Ten." This exhibition showcases about 40 distinguished works created by prominent artists who hold positions as advisors, directors, and auditors within the Nihon Ten organization, a leader in the Japanese art scene. The visitors will have the opportunity to explore masterpieces across five categories: Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, decorative arts, and calligraphy.
In this year's exhibition, artworks include pieces from last year's Nihon Ten Grand Exhibition, featuring artists who received prestigious awards, including the Minister's Award. The collection reflects a high level of artistic expression and craftsmanship, highlighting the unique beauty cultivated by these talented creators.
During a special address regarding the event, Ryohei Miyata, the president of Nihon Ten, expressed gratitude for the event's realization. He emphasized the exhibition's intent: "This exhibition provides an opportunity for attendees to engage more intimately with the artworks attributed to our esteemed advisors and directors. Each piece, pursued for its beauty and crafted with exceptional skill, holds a deep commitment to artistic excellence. We hope that many will come to enjoy these creations."

The ninth exhibition of 'The Dawn of Beauty - Contemporary Nihon Ten' will take place from October 23 (Thursday) until November 3 (Monday) at the Seiko House Hall, located at 4-5-11 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo (6th Floor of Seiko House). The hours of operation are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the final day hours concluding at 5:00 PM. There are no holidays, and admission is free.
The exhibition is organized by Wako and is supported by the Japan Art Academy, Nihon Ten. Please also note that the gallery has recently changed its name to “Seiko House Hall” and intends to continue showcasing related events that connect art with the Seiko Group’s business activities.
