Canon Showcases Innovation at CP+ 2026

Canon is set to exhibit at the world premiere camera and imaging show, CP+ 2026, taking place from February 26 to March 1 at Pacifico Yokohama. Under the key message "Capturing is More Fun Than Ever," Canon will introduce an array of products and imaging experiences designed to add color to everyday life through photography.

The Canon booth will feature a broad range of products, including the EOS R System and compact digital cameras, offering various engaging shooting experiences. Visitors can immerse themselves in advanced imaging technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR), showcasing the new appeal of photographic and video expression. Additionally, the presentation stage will host discussions and seminars led by photographers and creators, all of which will be streamed live online.

Engaging Experiences for Photography Beginners

Canon will set up areas specifically for entry-level users, giving beginners a chance to enjoy photography with user-friendly mirrorless cameras and compact digital camera options. A special commemorative edition of the compact digital camera, the "PowerShot G7 X Mark III," will be on display, marking 30 years since its launch. Workshops and seminars will focus on creating Vlogs related to pets, travel, and cooking, providing tips for novices to enhance their photography in ways that suit their lifestyles.

Catering to Professionals and Advanced Amateurs

For professional and high-amateur users, Canon will feature hands-on experiences with the full-frame mirrorless cameras such as the "EOS R6 Mark III", expected to launch in November 2025, and the "EOS R5 Mark II", set for August 2024. Visitors can experience the impressive image quality, superior drive performance, and autofocus capabilities of the EOS R System through shooting live performances like fashion shows and double Dutch. Furthermore, Canon will present an interactive corner showcasing how to generate high-resolution 3D images using their innovative Dual Pixel 3D technology.

Seminars by Diverse Photographers and Creators

The event will feature seminars led by photographers and creators from various fields at both presentation and demonstration stages. In addition to live streaming seminars online, archived footage will also be made available.
