Overview of the Upcoming Online Seminar
Kawai Juku, a highly regarded educational organization, is excited to announce the conduct of the 9th Online Seminar on University Entrance Selection Reform titled "The Future Map of High School-University Connections". This seminar will be held over two days, March 25th and March 27th, aimed at educators from both high schools and universities involved in admissions and educational planning. The event will take place via Zoom, ensuring that educators across Japan can participate freely.
Seminar Objectives
The primary focus of this seminar is the exploration of various sectors within the framework of high school-university connections. With discussions centering on themes such as inquiry-based learning, collaborative high school-university programs, university entrance exams, pre-admission education, initial year education, and remedial education, the seminar will address the essential foundation for ensuring readiness in high school students for their upcoming academic experiences at university.
As society grapples with a declining birth rate, universal university enrollment trends, and the evolving global landscape, the conversation surrounding high school-university connections is ever more critical. Throughout the seminar, insights from experts actively involved in these transformation processes will serve as invaluable resources for educators at both levels, providing them with practical advice and innovative strategies for enhancing their own high school-university connections.
