Hubble Expands its Flex Office Marketplace by Launching in the U.S.

Hubble Expands into the U.S. Market

Hubble®, known as the largest flexible office marketplace in the U.K., has officially launched its services in the United States, marking a significant expansion in the flexible workspace industry. This launch enables businesses to search, compare, and secure private office spaces in major U.S. cities including New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and the broader Bay Area.

In response to the growing demand for flexible workspaces, Hubble brings its innovative marketplace model to the U.S., leveraging its successful approach from the U.K. The platform facilitates a seamless experience for companies of all sizes looking to avoid long-term lease commitments, catering specifically to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and corporate teams wanting more adaptability in their office environments.

Hubble's initial presence in New York City, which began in October 2025, proved to be a pivotal step for the company. The team, led by Henry Howard and Colleen Poling, successfully secured over $4 million in rental contracts, establishing a strong foothold in one of the most competitive office markets in the world. Their expertise in coworking and flexible office environments has already benefitted several tech companies, including notable names like Cal.com, which praised Hubble's efficiency and effectiveness in finding suitable office space quickly and affordably.

``“We loved working with Hubble,”” said Bailey Pumfleet, Co-founder and CEO of Cal.com. “They found us the perfect office, super fast, at a great price.”``

The positive reception in New York prompted Hubble to accelerate its U.S. launch plans. Drawing from its extensive experience in the U.K., where it has collaborated with high-profile clients such as PwC, Shopify, and Spotify, Hubble aims to assist U.S. companies navigating the dynamic return to office settings.

According to recent statistics, the demand for flexible office solutions is on the rise in the U.S., particularly as firms adapt their workplace strategies following the pandemic. The Kastle Occupancy Barometer, for instance, indicated a notable increase in office occupancy rates, reaching its highest point since the pandemic began. Simultaneously, a survey conducted by Hubble highlighted that 28% of startups in New York intend to increase their office attendance, while only a mere 3% plan to reduce it.

Despite this growing demand, the current supply of coworking spaces has not yet caught up. Yardi's Coworking Index reveals that only 2.3% of U.S. office inventory is allocated to coworking, while JLL projects that this could soar to 30% by 2030. New York, leading the charge, currently holds at 4.2% occupancy in coworking spaces, signaling ample opportunity for growth.

``“Companies need offices again. What they don't need is a ten-year lease,”” says Tushar Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO of Hubble. “We started Hubble in 2014 in a windowless basement in London because finding an office was harder than finding a home. Twelve years later, with more than 5,000 companies assisted and over $200 million in secured rents, everything moves faster from negotiations and move-in dates to term lengths.”``

Hubble's U.S.-based operations have launched with an impressive inventory of 10,433 office units spanning 706 buildings. The goal is to expand this listing further, projecting over 1,500 buildings by the end of 2026 across various markets. Hubble's platform offers tenants the advantage of not only searching online but also receiving dedicated advisory services at no additional cost, simplifying the often-complicated process of securing office space.

In January 2025, Hubble was acquired by Yardi, a key player in the real estate technology sector, further strengthening its position in the market. Yardi, which operates with more than 15,000 real estate clients across 80 countries, aims to bolster Hubble’s offering and reach.

Moving forward, Hubble intends to launch its services in ten additional U.S. cities by the close of the year, including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Denver, Phoenix, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Tampa as part of its ambitious growth strategy.

This expansion signifies a vital step in addressing the ever-evolving workspace needs of businesses, providing them with the agility required in today’s fast-paced environment. As Hubble continues to build on its U.K. success, it’s poised to play a crucial role in shaping the future of flexible workspaces across the United States.
