Verve Group Media Appoints Bryan Jennings as CFO to Enhance Financial Leadership

Verve Appoints Bryan Jennings as Chief Financial Officer

In a significant move for the financial landscape of Verve Group Media SE, the company has announced the appointment of Bryan Jennings as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He steps into this pivotal role succeeding Christian Duus, who has been instrumental in reshaping the finance organization over the past two years.

Bryan Jennings is not new to the field; with a career spanning over thirteen years in CFO roles at both public and private companies across Europe and the United States, he brings a wealth of experience to the table. His journey in finance began at Goldman Sachs, after which he spent nearly two decades with Morgan Stanley. At Morgan Stanley, he occupied various senior positions specializing in corporate finance, capital markets, and risk management, culminating his tenure there as a Managing Director in New York. His expertise also includes covering European corporations from the firm's London offices.

Upon leaving Morgan Stanley, Jennings took on CFO roles at diverse organizations, including deep engagements with companies backed by firms such as OrbiMed and Thiel Capital. Most recently, he played a crucial role at the advertising technology company, BrightLake.ai, in the United States, and in Frankfurt with Partex.

Remco Westermann, CEO of Verve Group Media, expressed confidence in Jennings' capabilities, stating, "Bryan combines operational CFO experience with expertise in financing, capital allocation, and international capital markets, alongside direct knowledge of advertising technology." His extensive experience across the United States and European markets aligns perfectly with Verve's operational strategies and ambitions, particularly as the company has roots in Europe while maintaining a significant presence in the U.S.

In his new position, Jennings is expected to focus on Verve’s priorities that include enhancing cash conversion, maintaining disciplined capital allocation, and deleveraging the organization while simultaneously stimulating investment in profitable growth. His vision for Verve includes capitalizing on the company's advanced advertising intelligence and access to substantial supply and data resources to cultivate long-term value.

Reflecting on the new role, Jennings stated, "Verve's advanced advertising intelligence, strong access to supply and data, and integrated end-to-end platform provide an excellent foundation for long-term value creation. I look forward to working with Remco and the team to build on these strengths and support the Group's financial and strategic priorities."

As Verve transitions into this new phase, Jennings will also continue the work initiated by Duus, who led the company's move from Sweden to Ireland. Duus will work alongside Jennings until December 31, 2026, to ensure a seamless transition before moving on to pursue new opportunities in the Nordic region.

Tobias M. Weitzel, Chairman of the Board, extended gratitude towards Duus, recognizing his contributions to the growth and internationalization of Verve’s finance organization.

In summary, Bryan Jennings’ appointment as CFO signifies a strategic escape into the future for Verve Group Media as it seeks to expand its horizons and deepen its roots in both European and American markets. This leadership change is anticipated to catalyze enhanced performance, with Jennings at the helm guiding financial strategies to bolster the firm's position in the competitive landscape of mobile advertising intelligence.
