CHiQ Showcases Panda-Themed AI Tech at IFA 2025
The Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 2025, one of the premier global trade shows for consumer electronics, kicked off in Berlin on September 5, 2025. This year, Changhong, through its brand CHiQ, turned heads with the launch of its unique panda-themed smart appliances. The spotlight was also on its new strategic partnerships within the sports domain, along with a display of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to innovation and cultural storytelling.
Changhong’s panda-inspired product line comes alive with AI technologies integrated into everyday household items. A standout product was the AI-equipped television, which features a virtual companion named Panda Xiaobai, designed to engage users around the clock with tailored panda-centric content. Accompanying this was a sophisticated refrigerator that utilizes AI-driven cloud humidity control to keep food fresher for longer, as well as an air conditioner that adjusts the indoor climate dynamically using adaptive AI algorithms. The design reflects a beautiful amalgamation of traditional ink-wash aesthetics with modern technology and panda silhouettes, striking a perfect balance of elegance and functionality.
At IFA, CHiQ also announced a long-term partnership with the International Ski Federation (FIS), establishing itself as the official partner of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup. This partnership is set to enhance CHiQ's involvement in winter sports, having previously participated in German FIS events since 2023 and collaborated with the German Ski Association (DSV). This venture marks a significant step in CHiQ's sports marketing strategy on a global scale, further emphasized by the endorsement from ski jumping world champion Andreas Wellinger, who embodies the spirit of excellence and perseverance.
Moreover, CHiQ’s commitment to accessible sports gained further validation with its sponsorship of the Wheelchair Tennis Open, organized by the German Tennis Federation (DTB). In recognition of its contributions towards combining technology with sports and advancing the values of sustainability, diversity, and equality, DTB bestowed CHiQ with an honorary partnership certificate at the event. This collaboration illustrates CHiQ's dedication to effecting positive social change through innovation.
