Experience Traditional Craftsmanship at Kobe Suma Sea World Hotel
Kobe Suma Sea World Hotel, a premier hotel operated by Granvista Hotel & Resort, is hosting a unique workshop event titled "Hyogo's Tradition Woven Together: A Coin Case to Remember Your Journey". This exciting event is scheduled for November 22, 2025, at the Setouchi Harbor Restaurant, where participants can engage with the rich traditions and craftsmanship of the Hyogo region.
The workshop will feature an original coin case crafted with the local "Banshu Ori" fabric and "Sugihara Paper". As attendees enjoy refreshments, they will learn about HALOP, a dynamic brand born from traditional techniques passed down in Taka Town, Hyogo. This is an opportunity to appreciate not just the local goods, but also the natural blessings of the region.
During the workshop, participants will have the chance to create their very own coin case in the distinctive color scheme inspired by the orca (black and white). They'll select from various textures and colors of Banshu Ori, getting creative by adding personalized touches such as logos or sea creature stamps to decorate their coin case, making it a cherished keepsake of their visit to Kobe Suma Sea World Hotel.
