University Students Collaborate on Camembert Cheese Challenge to Engage Youth

Exciting Collaboration to Promote Camembert Cheese



In an innovative project titled #CamembertSchoolLunchChallenge, the Meiji Company has partnered with students from the Chuo University Faculty of Commerce to promote Camembert cheese. This initiative aims to make Camembert cheese more appealing and accessible to younger generations. The project kicked off on October 1, 2025, with limited-time menu offerings at the university cafeteria, showcasing the students' creative cuisine designed around Meiji Hokkaido Tokachi Camembert cheese.

Genesis of the Project



The #CamembertSchoolLunchChallenge is an effort to harness the power of academic partnerships to create menus that students would genuinely enjoy. A total of 16 third-year students from the Sakai Maiko seminar at Chuo University are involved in this project, where they will not only develop innovative dishes but also promote the menus through eye-catching displays. The collaboration provides students with a comprehensive experience in product development, marketing, and customer feedback collection.

During the week from October 1 to 7, selected dishes infused with Meiji Hokkaido Tokachi Camembert cheese will be available in the cafeteria, adding excitement to lunchtime for many students. The menu items are crafted through careful consideration of student preferences, ensuring that the offerings resonate with their tastes.
