JR East Japan Cross Station Development Company is launching the 11th edition of their local revitalization project, "Jinomono Lover". This time, they present the "Nakatsukawa Kurikinton Lovers" Pop-Up Shop, which promises a delightful experience for food lovers and a taste of Nakatsukawa’s exquisite chestnut sweets.

Event Details

The event will take place at the event space adjacent to the South Gate ticket machine at JR Takanawa Gateway Station, from September 26 (Friday) to September 28 (Sunday), operating daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This year's fair includes a variety of products from 11 local traditional sweets shops in Nakatsukawa City, Gifu Prefecture. Visitors can indulge in a buffet-style arrangement for purchasing Nakatsukawa kurikinton sweets, alongside unique variations crafted by local artisans. An additional booth highlighting the East Mino area’s tourism will allow guests to immerse themselves in the area's rich history and culture.

At the heart of this culinary celebration is the renowned Nakatsukawa Kurikinton, a delightful chestnut confection made with locally sourced chestnuts. It will be featured prominently in the tasting area, presenting a unique opportunity to compare the flavors from various shops.
