Eficode, a leader in AI and services tailored for the software development lifecycle (SDLC), has officially named Staffan Strand as its new Chief Executive Officer. Starting from May 19, Strand steps into this critical position, bringing with him over two decades of high-level leadership experience in sectors such as IT consulting and digital transformation. Before joining Eficode, he served as President and Chairman of Nexer Group, showcasing his proficiency in resource consulting, team management, and service delivery. Strand’s skill in overseeing sizable teams, including more than 1,000 consultants, has marked his career.

Sebastian Inger, Chairman of Eficode, expressed confidence in Strand's capability to boost the company's growth trajectory, stating, “Staffan brings exactly the combination of operational rigor and strategic vision that Eficode needs for the next chapter of expansion.” His extensive background in developing high-performing teams in international markets was pivotal in his selection.

Strand's career includes senior leadership positions at CGI and Alten, where he managed operations containing over 1,200 personnel. His academic credentials feature a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Strand possesses a competitive edge from his sports background—competing in high jump at two Olympic Games and clinching the European Indoor Championship title in 2002.

Upon taking on his new role, Strand remarked, “Eficode has built something genuinely differentiated.” He emphasized the unique market position created through deep DevOps expertise, rapid AI service expansion, and robust alliances with major entities like Atlassian, Microsoft GitHub, GitLab, and Nvidia.
