The new Tajín® chocolatey products were first introduced at the Sweets & Snacks Expo 2024, where two products—Tajín® Peanut Corn Clusters and Tajín® Gummy Bears—were nominated as finalists for Most Innovative New Product. This marks an exciting first, as it’s the inaugural attempt to blend the flavorful Tajín, the top chile-lime seasoning brand in the U.S., with chocolate treats.

Each product in the new line provides a unique twist on beloved chocolate snacks:
  • - The Tajín® Chocolatey Coated Pretzels transform the classic pretzel by adding a zesty splash of Tajín® Chile-Lime seasoning. This combination enhances the flavor profile and appeals to both sweet and savory snack lovers.
  • - For those seeking a crunchy option, the Tajín® Peanut Corn Clusters mix peanuts with toasted corn, all luxuriously coated in chocolate and generously sprinkled with Tajín for an explosion of flavor. These clusters provide a delicious and unexpected take on chocolate-dipped snacks.

Katie Lilly, the Chief Marketing Officer of Century Snacks, shared insights on the inspiration behind this new line. “We know consumers are looking for a twist on candy, as exemplified by our Snak Club Tajín® gummy candy line. Now, this chocolatey selection opens doors to an entirely new snack segment with flavors consumers have never experienced before,” she noted. Lilly was inspired after tasting a chile-lime chocolate cluster during a trip to Mexico, which sparked the idea to bring that tantalizing experience back to the U.S.
