Jen Mehall Takes the Helm at ASRC Federal's Defense & Intelligence Group

In a significant leadership transition, ASRC Federal has announced the promotion of Jen Mehall to president of its Defense & Intelligence Operating Group, effective immediately. Mehall takes over from Mike Manzo, who has served as president and chief executive officer of ASRC Federal. This move highlights ASRC's commitment to enhancing its strategic direction and operational oversight in serving defense and intelligence customers.

Jen Mehall brings over a decade of experience at ASRC Federal, having most recently held dual roles as senior vice president and general manager of the Professional Support Services and Broadleaf Divisions, along with her responsibilities as the lead for Defense Intelligence Operations. In her previous roles, Mehall has successfully overseen professional support services and cyber operations tailored to several critical Department of War customers, including the Army, Navy, and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Her leadership was instrumental in driving significant growth, reporting double-digit increases year-over-year.

With a rich background exceeding 25 years in federal contracting, Mehall is well-equipped to tackle the unique challenges and missions faced by defense and civilian agencies. Before joining ASRC Federal, she held notable positions such as senior vice president of operations at CACI and vice president of operations at Chenega Corporation, roles that further solidified her expertise in the field.

“Jen is a proven leader with a deep understanding of our defense and intelligence customers' mission needs,” stated Mike Manzo. “During her time at ASRC Federal, she has delivered mission-critical solutions that enhance our national security posture.”

Under Mehall's leadership, the Defense & Intelligence Operating Group is set to continue its path of providing robust solutions tailored to the evolving needs of its clients, which include more than 30 U.S. government agencies. The group is poised to support vital missions ranging from space exploration to cyber defense and military base operations.

ASRC Federal emphasizes its role as an Alaska Native-owned family of companies that aim to ensure a prosperous future for its shareholders. With over 14,000 Iñupiaq shareholders from Alaska's North Slope, ASRC Federal has distributed approximately $2 billion in dividends through its parent company, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. This commitment to social responsibility is as vital as the technical solutions the company provides.

The promotion of Jen Mehall to the role of president marks a new chapter for ASRC Federal as it continues to navigate the complexities of modern defense needs while enhancing organizational efficacy. Her established track record and leadership skills are expected to foster continued growth and innovation, ensuring that ASRC Federal remains at the forefront of delivering critical services to the defense sector.
