Next Level Aviation® Appoints Clive Rankin as SVP of Global Business Development

Next Level Aviation® (NLA), a prominent player in the global distribution of used serviceable materials (USM) for Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft, has officially announced the appointment of Clive Rankin as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development. This strategic addition comes as the company aims to capitalize on its growth potential within the competitive aviation aftermarket sector.

Clive Rankin brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having spent 30 years in various capacities in the international commercial aviation industry. His extensive background encompasses engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), leasing, asset management, and powerplant operations. Most recently, he held a pivotal position as Head of Engine Programs for a leading commercial aviation aftermarket company based in Eastern Europe. Prior to that, he excelled as a sales director for one of the largest jet engine overhaul companies globally, where he was instrumental in selling engine overhaul services.

Rankin's career also boasts significant technical experience, having gained hands-on knowledge at major airline and OEM engine shops while working as both an Aircraft Powerplant Mechanic and Engineer. This diverse background equips him uniquely to further NLA’s mission of becoming a leading provider of USM for commercial aviation.

In his new position, Rankin will concentrate on leveraging his existing industry relationships and developing new ones to enhance NLA's USM distribution operations. Both the buy and sell sides of this business will be prioritized as NLA seeks to establish itself further on the international stage.
