The initiative was revealed during the company's latest sustainability reporting, where Electrolux expressed its goal to incorporate 35% recycled steel and plastic by weight into its products by the year 2030. The announcement comes alongside their impressive sustainability results for the year 2024, which have shown remarkable progress in various areas:

The cooking efficiency of their ovens has also advanced, with up to 28% less energy consumed during specific cooking tasks.

The global non-profit CDP has also honored Electrolux for its climate efforts, awarding an A- score for its notable sustainability endeavors.

The company has also taken a proactive approach in educating the next generation on sustainability. Through the Electrolux Food Foundation's Food Heroes initiative, 81,000 children were inspired to adopt sustainable eating practices globally.
