Celebrate Thanksgiving with Special Course Featuring Shimanto Turkey at Union Square Tokyo

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a Unique Dining Experience

As Thanksgiving approaches, Union Square Tokyo prepares to host a special dining event that honors this beloved American holiday. Scheduled for November 27 and 28, 2025, this limited-time course features exquisite dishes that spotlight the locally sourced Shimanto turkey, nestled in the pristine natural surroundings of the Shimanto River in Kochi Prefecture.

Highlighting Shimanto Turkey

The centerpiece of the Thanksgiving dinner is none other than the renowned Shimanto turkey. Refined in the tranquil environment of the Nakatsu Town's Ōnomi area, these turkeys thrive on a diet of locally produced rice and vegetables. Grown without stress and surrounded by clear waters, the meat is celebrated for its tenderness and juicy flavor. To elevate the taste experience, the turkey is served with a delightful apple gravy sauce and a tangy cranberry relish, providing an enjoyable contrast in flavors.

A Feast of Autumn Flavors

The Thanksgiving meal begins with a vibrant leaf lettuce salad, adorned with aromatic black truffles and rich Gruyère cheese. The addition of crunchy corn bread croutons offers a satisfying textural twist. Next, guests indulge in a warming bowl of New England clam chowder, its creamy consistency is the perfect prelude to the star of the evening—the roast Shimanto turkey.

As the meal concludes, diners are treated to an iconic pumpkin pie, accompanied by rich vanilla ice cream, establishing a fitting end to the Thanksgiving feast. This special dinner course is priced at 8,500 yen and valid for both nights of the event.
