Starting from September 13, 2025, a unique limited edition of onigiri made by the creative hands of train staff will hit the shelves at select stores of Onigiri Honoriya. The two delightful offerings, 'Grilled Salmon with Saikyo Miso Onigiri' and 'Charcoal Grilled Chicken Wrapped with Saikyo Miso Takana Onigiri', are priced at 330 yen each. The special sale will be held at five locations along the Saikyo Line: Ikebukuro, Akabane, Omiya, Kawagoe, and at the Honoriya locations within the respective train stations.
This exciting initiative began in March 2022, enabling collaboration with staff from various train stations to bring their culinary ideas to life. This is the sixth round of this successful project, showcasing the creativity and dedication of the station staff who have poured their experiences into these delicious rice balls. These products emphasize the local flavors and ingredients that make them a must-try for anyone traveling along the Saikyo Line.

This delightful onigiri features grilled salmon paired with a rich Saikyo white miso and wrapped with nori seaweed, providing a perfect harmony of flavors.

There is also a special "Saikyo Set" that includes both of the onigiri with a side of fluffy tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) for just 650 yen (tax included).

The sale will be available for approximately three months, or until supplies last.
