Celebrating TBC's 50th Anniversary with the New KIWAMI Facial Course

Celebrating 50 Years of TBC Group with the KIWAMI Facial Course

TBC Group, headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary in March 2026. To mark this significant milestone, the company is excited to introduce a new facial treatment course named "整顔&身体バランスマッサージ KIWAMI," launching on December 1, 2025. This innovative course aims not just to enhance facial aesthetics but to improve overall body wellness.

The KIWAMI course utilizes products from TBC’s high-end brand, TO'US BEAUX, which are crafted without adding a single drop of water during manufacturing. Instead, they are formulated with collagen water and carefully selected ingredients that aim to reveal the skin's inherent beauty. This course not only integrates traditional lifting techniques but also offers unprecedented head and body massage procedures to provide a comprehensive approach for clients.

A Unique Approach to Wellness

The KIWAMI course distinguishes itself from previous facial treatments by integrating full-body treatments. There are three main steps designed to maximize benefits:

1. Head Massage During Mask: While a mask is applied, a head massage stimulates blood circulation in the scalp and muscles, preparing the body for subsequent relaxation steps.

2. Relaxation Techniques: The second step focuses on relaxing the arms, legs, and shoulder blades, which aims to enhance the effects of the facial massage that follows.

3. Muscle and Fascia Massaging: The final step employs existing massage techniques to sculpt the face, yielding a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

Additional treatments, including a warm thermal pack and a foot massage, provide a full-body experience that promotes relaxation and wellness.

Scientific Research Underpinning KIWAMI

In the development of the KIWAMI course, TBC collaborated with Professor Yasue Mitsukura from Keio University’s Faculty of Science and Technology. Their joint research examined the impacts of the treatment on sleep quality and emotional well-being. Key findings revealed that undergoing the KIWAMI course increases the proportion of deep sleep levels while reducing stress levels, verified through precise physiological measurements during the study.

The participants ranged from 20s to 60s, showing an increase in the percentage of deep sleep categorized as Non-REM sleep Stage 3, rising from 18% to 22% post-treatment, revealing a notable increase of approximately 30 minutes of deep sleep quality.
