Who is Akira Uesugi?
Born in 1996 and hailing from Tokyo, Akira Uesugi is a talented graphic designer and illustrator who has made a name for himself by blending cartoon influences and street culture into his unique style. He graduated from the Tama Art University with a degree in Graphic Design and has worked on various collaborations with both domestic and international brands, demonstrating a versatile portfolio that includes logo designs, apparel projects, and more.
His past work includes hitting milestones such as the 30th Anniversary T-shirt for GAP Japan and mural art in Shibuya's PARCO. Exhibited individually, Uesugi's art has been showcased in significant group exhibitions as well, elevating his presence in Tokyo's vibrant art scene.
