Kyoraku Introduces Innovative Barrier PET Bottles at Tokyo Exhibition

Kyoraku Co., Ltd., based in Chuo City, Tokyo, is set to unveil its latest packaging solution, the Barrier PET bottle, at the upcoming 4th International Fermentation and Brewing Food Industry Exhibition. This event will take place from July 16 to 18 at Tokyo Big Sight, renowned for showcasing innovations in food preservation. As consumer demand for sustainable packaging intensifies, Kyoraku is committed to addressing these concerns with their advanced offerings.

The highlight of Kyoraku's exhibition will undoubtedly be the Barrier PET bottles, a next-generation packaging concept that promises to maintain the freshness and flavor of sensitive contents, particularly in the fermentation and brewing sector. The bottle is designed to prevent oxidation, keeping contents fresh without compromising on recyclability. Attendees will have the opportunity to see this groundbreaking solution up-close and gain insights into its production and potential applications.

In addition to the Barrier PET bottles, Kyoraku will showcase several other innovative products, all engineered to meet the demands of modern consumers and businesses alike. Among these is the Haku Ribottle, which features a double structure that ensures high freshness retention. This unique design prevents oxidation both from the outside and at the liquid surface, maintaining optimal flavor throughout the duration of use. Users can also appreciate the ease of dispensing the exact amount they need with the bottle’s 'exact quantity discharge' feature, which has received positive feedback.

Another notable product on display is the Spott eco bottle, which promotes recycling due to its distinctive structure allowing for easy separation after use. The double containment design not only enhances gas barrier properties but also reduces the overall weight of the container. With over 80% of the outer container made from clean PET that does not come into contact with contents, it ensures a sustainable resource for future use. Additionally, the contents can be fully used, even if they are viscous, thanks to the thin design of the inner container after extraction.

Kyoraku will also present their EMC series of microwaveable bags, designed for heat efficiency, safety, and versatility. These bags withstand freezing and provide a function that allows for steam release during heating, catering to diverse applications and sizes. Kyoraku promises to support product development for clients seeking to enhance their offerings with these advanced packaging solutions.

Lastly, the PET outer bag on a valve (BoV) offers innovative usability. By replacing conventional metal cans with transparent PET, consumers can now see the contents of the spray bottle, providing a new customer experience. With nitrogen gas for non-flammable pressurization, the PET BoV ensures safety and reliability, and it can be refilled using specialized machinery, further promoting sustainability.

Kyoraku's commitment to creating products that respond to market needs and societal challenges is evident in their diverse offerings. We encourage all attendees to visit their booth at the exhibition to explore these groundbreaking innovations.
