Brillia Art Gallery to Host Final Exhibition 'Life and Art' Before Closure

BAG-Brillia Art Gallery: A Farewell to a Cultural Landmark

As the curtain falls on the BAG-Brillia Art Gallery, art enthusiasts have a poignant opportunity to witness its final exhibition titled 'Life and Art,' starting from September 13 and running until October 26, 2025. Located in Tokyo's urban heart of Kyobashi, BAG will close its doors due to redevelopment projects, marking the end of roughly four years of fostering artistic dialogue through exhibitions.

Since its opening in October 2021, BAG has been an essential platform for exploring the connection between art and daily life. The gallery, under the aegis of Tokyo Tatemono's brand 'Brillia,' has consistently showcased art that illuminates the beauty and complexity of everyday experiences. This upcoming exhibition gathers works from 15 artists associated with BAG, who have chosen to delve into themes that enrich our daily lives, echoing the gallery's enduring mantra of 'Life and Art.'

The exhibition will not only reflect on BAG's legacy but also challenge visitors to reassess the inherent artistry present in their daily routines. Additionally, past favorite pop-up shops featuring vintage band T-shirts and vinyl records will return, providing a delightful shopping experience for art and music lovers alike.
