From July 24th to 26th, 2026, Daikanyama T-SITE in Tokyo becomes the vibrant epicenter for food lovers with the "Italian Summer Garden" event. This outdoor food festival is curated by the renowned Salvatore Cuomo, a true pioneer of authentic Neapolitan pizza in Japan.

The event's theme, "There is an editorial eye in food," encapsulates the artistic approach to culinary experiences. Participants can expect a delightful variety of gourmet offerings, including burgers, pizzas, and gelato, all served from selected food trucks. Each dish promises to feature authentic flavors while utilizing high-quality Japanese ingredients, bringing together the best of both cuisines.

A standout attraction will be the food trucks featuring an exclusive menu from Cuomo's restaurant "CASA CUOMO," created in collaboration with the FRESH CHEESE STUDIO. Attendees can indulge in unique creations like burrata burgers, burrata dishes, and stracciatella pizza—available only during this event.

Adding to the flavor-packed experience, the event will also showcase traditional pizza made by the Japan Neapolitan Pizza Association. Guests can relish authentic Neapolitan pizza prepared in a wood-fired oven situated in a food truck, further enriching the culinary diversity available at Italian Summer Garden.

Exclusive Marketplace

The Italian Summer Garden will also feature a marketplace, where visitors can purchase exclusive items curated by Salvatore Cuomo, alongside products from "okawari TOKYO." This area is set to include a wide variety of condiments, olive oils, jams, and more, allowing attendees to recreate the authentic Italian taste at home. Products will range from chili oil, additive-free jam made from Amaou strawberries, and premium Shizuoka extra virgin olive oil that won the OLIVE JAPAN 2026 Gold Award.

On July 25th, from 1 PM to 6 PM, the event will host an intriguing talk show featuring some of the world's top culinary artisans. About Salvatore Cuomo

Salvatore Cuomo, born in Naples in 1972, has established himself as a leading figure in Naples-style pizza in Japan since his arrival at the age of 16. Holding the position of chairman of Salvatore Cuomo International, he has dedicated his life to spreading the authentic flavors of his homeland. His ventures earned him a prestigious place in the "50 Top Italy 2026" international restaurant guide, ranking 20th globally.
