Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution for the AI Age at MWC 2026
Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 held in Barcelona, Huawei made headlines with the launch of its upgraded Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 solution. Alongside this revolutionary product, Huawei introduced the industry’s first commercially available liquid-cooled switch, the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC, equipped with an impressive capacity of 51.2T (128 × 400GE). This set of innovations aims to propel the digital and intelligent transformation of businesses globally.
The keynote speech delivered by Arthur Wang, President of Huawei's Data Center Network Domain, highlighted the significant evolution of data center networks from a predominantly virtualization and cloud-driven approach to a new level characterized by artificial intelligence (AI). The newly released Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is built upon a three-layer network architecture that consists of AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Networking Elements. These components work in tandem to provide a robust foundation for future developments in network technology.
Among the core functions integrated into this solution is the Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0, which employs the AI engine named “Eagle-Eye.” This feature ensures three tiers of high reliability, allowing organizations to maintain seamless operations even under peak loads. Additionally, the StarryWing Digital Map 2.0, developed with NetMaster, introduces three levels of automation that optimize network management and performance.
One of the standout features of Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is the Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0, which offers advanced capabilities in network packet load balancing (NPLB) and network stream load balancing (NSLB), enhancing the efficiency and performance of data transmission processes. Furthermore, the iFlashboot 2.0 functionality enables ultra-fast reboots within just five seconds, significantly reducing downtime and improving overall system responsiveness.
Huawei’s CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC is another monumental introduction, recognized for its 100% liquid cooling for optical modules, achieving a heat dissipation efficiency that is twice the industry average. This exceptional cooling capability allows for the installation of eight switches per cabinet, thereby doubling cabinet utilization—a critical factor in today’s high-density data centers.
In addition, Huawei showcased its complete range of 800GE/400GE StarryLink optical modules, which promise twice the reliability compared to industry standards and extraordinarily long transmission distances. The company presented its entire portfolio of 800GE products, including modular switches from the CloudEngine XH16800 series, featuring up to 768 × 800GE ports. Other notable products included the fixed switch CloudEngine XH9330 with 128 × 800GE ports and the CloudEngine XH9320 with 64 × 800GE ports.
Looking forward, Huawei reaffirms its commitment to fostering open collaboration, striving to drive continuous innovation in data center network technology, and encouraging smart upgrades. By working closely with global customers and partners, Huawei aims to lead joint innovations that provide greater value to various industries and improve customer experiences significantly.
In summary, the unveiling of the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 and the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC showcases Huawei's leadership in the AI realm, demonstrating a clear vision for the future of digital transformation within data centers and commercial enterprises. With these groundbreaking developments, Huawei is set to influence the operational landscapes of companies worldwide, pushing them towards a more intelligent and efficient future.
