Make-A-Wish, NFL, and Fanatics Join Forces to Create Unforgettable Super Bowl Experiences

Make-A-Wish, NFL, and Fanatics Team Up to Create Unforgettable Experiences for 24 Wish Kids

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Make-A-Wish® has announced an incredible initiative to send 24 wish kids and their families to Super Bowl LX in the San Francisco Bay Area. This effort marks the highest number of wishes ever granted during a Super Bowl, made possible through the generous support of the National Football League (NFL), Fanatics, and other corporate partners.

A Record-Breaking Wish Granting

The week-long festivities will welcome families from February 4 to 8, culminating in an exhilarating experience at Levi's® Stadium for the championship game on February 8, 2026. For over 44 years, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 300 wishes related to the Super Bowl, with the NFL contributing significantly by supporting numerous wishes through all 32 teams and their players. The tradition began in 1982, granting the first Super Bowl wish for a 12-year-old from Arizona, setting a precedent for future wish grants.

Exciting Itinerary of Events

Families will have the chance to engage in a plethora of activities throughout their stay. Key highlights include:

  • - February 4: A welcome reception at Topgolf, providing an opportunity for wish kids to bond through unique trading card activities hosted by Topps.

  • - February 5: A special behind-the-scenes tour of Levi's Stadium, followed by attendance at the NFL Honors event, facilitated by the NFL's long-standing commitment to Make-A-Wish.

  • - February 6: At Lids Pier 39, Fanatics will surprise families with significant gifts, including a $200 credit for official Super Bowl LX merchandise. Additionally, kids will have the chance to create their very own bears at the Build-A-Bear x NFL Shop station, adorned in their team jerseys.

  • - February 7: Families will embrace the vibrant atmosphere of San Francisco and relish the excitement of Super Bowl Week.

  • - February 8: The pinnacle of the week, wish kids will witness the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks as they battle for the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy at Levi's Stadium.

The Impact of Wish Experiences

Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, expressed the importance of these events, stating, "Witnessing wish kids and their families at the Super Bowl—where sports, community, and hope converge—underscores the profound impact a wish can have. Together with partners like the NFL and Fanatics, we are able to deliver experiences that alleviate stress and enhance emotional well-being during treatment."

Since its partnership with Make-A-Wish in 2023, Fanatics has transformed over 900 sports-related wishes, ensuring each child feels celebrated and appreciated. They have created unforgettable moments, including meets with athletes, premium experiences at championship events, and exclusive merchandise.

Super Bowl wishes continue to represent a powerful annual initiative by Make-A-Wish, resurrecting hope and joy for children and families navigating critical illnesses, thanks to the unwavering support of the NFL.
