Rightfiber Strengthens Nebraska Presence with Fastwyre Acquisition
Rightfiber Expands Its Nebraska Footprint Through New Acquisition
Rightfiber, a telecommunications provider, has officially completed its acquisition of the Nebraska operations of Fastwyre Broadband, previously known as American Broadband Holding Company. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for Rightfiber, which has transitioned from Great Plains Communications as part of its growth strategy under Grain Management's portfolio.
The acquisition is set to greatly enhance Rightfiber's service offerings by integrating Fastwyre’s existing operations and customer base. As one of the country's largest independent fiber broadband providers, Rightfiber will now deliver improved fiber connectivity across the state, benefitting both urban and rural communities.
Rightfiber currently operates in over 20 states and boasts an impressive network of more than 28,000 route miles of fiber. With this new acquisition, they aim to further enhance their service offerings to over 300,000 Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) passings, thereby expanding their reach and services in communities such as Arlington, Blair, and Fremont, among others.
"We are excited to welcome Fastwyre's Nebraska customers to the Rightfiber family," said CEO Heath Simpson. He reiterated the commitment to providing reliable connectivity and outstanding local support. Rightfiber guarantees a customer-first experience, which is integral to their operational philosophy.
As part of the integration process, former Fastwyre customers can expect ongoing communications regarding various aspects such as services, billing, and any future enhancements. Rightfiber is focused on ensuring a smooth transition for all customers, underlining their commitment to service excellence and community support.
Todd Foje, Executive Chairman of Rightfiber, emphasized the profound historical ties between the company and Nebraska, stating, "Completing this acquisition reinforces our long-term commitment to the communities we serve across the state. We aim to build on our legacy and strengthen our relationships with the residents and businesses that have supported us for generations."
The merger comes on the heels of Rightfiber's recent establishment, a result of the combination between Ritter Communications and Great Plains Communications, which effectively leveraged over 200 years of telecommunications experience. The goal is to deliver exemplary services and support for Nebraska communities through enhanced digital infrastructure.
Incorporating Fastwyre’s operations allows Rightfiber to implement its trusted solutions in digital infrastructure, a crucial focus area as more individuals and businesses depend on reliable internet connectivity. This investment highlights the ongoing evolution in broadband services and the essential nature of connectivity in today’s digital age.
With the completion of this acquisition, Rightfiber is now poised to strengthen its capabilities and continue spearheading improvements in telecommunications services throughout Nebraska. As they embark on this new chapter, Rightfiber remains committed to ensuring that the residents in the areas they serve have access to superior fiber broadband services, vital for both personal and professional growth.
