In March 2026, Michter's distillery will proudly ship its highly anticipated 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon, marking a significant moment for whiskey enthusiasts. This upcoming release comes after a year of waiting, and it represents the expertise and dedication of Michter's Master Distiller, Dan McKee, and Master of Maturation, Andrea Wilson.

The meticulous aging process is one of the cornerstones of this esteemed product. According to Master Distiller McKee, even barrels that are stored side by side can mature at different rates. Therefore, the team at Michter's allows their whiskey to age longer than the ten years typically associated with its name. This deliberate practice ensures that only the most perfectly matured barrels are selected for the bottling process of the 10 Year Bourbon.

The 2026 release is expected to have an impressive alcohol content of 94.4 proof (47.2% ABV).
