Supporting Adult Startups with Suit Up
Suit Inc., located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has announced a campaign specifically designed to support adults starting their businesses—those who are 40 years old and above. The campaign will run from July 11 to July 18, 2025, during which three eligible adult startups can apply through their contact form to receive a three-month free trial of Suit Up, the company's innovative task management and project management tool.
The Campaign Details
This initiative recognizes the significant cost burden that even small teams face when it comes to task management. For example, a simulation conducted by Suit Inc. estimated that a company with 30 employees could incur a staggering cost of approximately 1.19 million yen per month due to frequent task progress check-ins. By adopting Suit Up, these companies can visualize their tasks more effectively, which can lead to dramatically reduced management costs.
Recent research conducted by Nulab between October 6 and October 10, 2023, revealed that many companies primarily utilize simple tools such as email and handwritten notes for individual task management, leaving team-oriented tools like Excel and specialized task management software underused. Only 11.7% of businesses reported using dedicated task management tools. Suit Inc. believes that introducing team-oriented task management systems is essential for improving productivity, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises.
While the global trend indicates that startups led by individuals over the age of 40 tend to succeed more often, Japan has yet to see a significant presence of such entrepreneurs despite its booming startup culture. Suit Inc. aims to change this by highlighting Suit Up’s advantages through this campaign and encouraging more senior startups to utilize their platform.
