KNT365’s Upcycled Week: A Celebration of Sustainable Fashion
KNT365, a Japanese brand known for its eco-friendly approach, is set to host
Upcycled Week at its flagship store,
THE KNT365 HOUSE in Harajuku, starting
November 26, 2023. This exciting event will feature a variety of unique upcycled pieces crafted with care and creativity, emphasizing both style and sustainability.
The Brand Behind the Craft
Founded by
Jyun Kunii, KNT365 operates out of Tokyo and Osaka, aiming to redefine how products are created and consumed. The brand specializes in knitwear, integrating traditional techniques with modern technology. Products are crafted at the
KNT365 Osaka Lab, where skilled artisans use advanced machinery for a complete production cycle—from design and manufacturing to sales—all handled in-house.
The Osaka Lab is situated in Izumi-Otsu, a region renowned for its knitting heritage. Here, the fusion of craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology yields high-quality products, prioritizing recycled materials for a more sustainable future.
Innovative Projects for a Sustainable Future
One of the lab's notable initiatives is the
Get Back project, which breathes new life into damaged or leftover fabrics. Under the creative leadership of
Hana Mori, a dedicated employee and former intern, the project focuses on upcycling unusable materials into unique, one-of-a-kind items. Hana draws inspiration from her daily life, converting everyday experiences into wearable art. Each piece tells a story, embodying the spirit of its creation.
Hana describes her artistic process:
“The creations stem from my daily inspirations—be it a dessert I enjoyed or an outfit I wore. Every piece is unique, reflecting a moment in time and carrying the essence of its journey.”

Hana shares her excitement regarding the new collection:
