Adidas Unveils New Campaign
Adidas Japan, based in Minato Ward, Tokyo, is set to launch a new global campaign on August 28, 2025, featuring esteemed athletes Rashid Muratake and Noah Lyles. This initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to motivate athletes, encouraging them to embrace the pressure and seize their potential.
The campaign builds upon the central theme of 'YOU GOT THIS,' which conveys a powerful message that even in challenging times, the belief in oneself and the support from others can make a significant difference. This year, the focus shifts towards the importance of having a supportive presence during moments of pressure and difficulty. Timed to align with key athletic events, the visuals will showcase both athletes as they pursue their goals alongside teammates and coaches.
Rashid Muratake has recently set a new national record in the men's 110M hurdles, heightening expectations for his performance on the international stage. The campaign highlights a poignant moment captured at the National Stadium, illustrating Rashid's determination amid the pressures of competition. This visual narrative will capture not only his pursuit of personal best but the encouragement he receives from his mentor, reflecting a communal belief of 'YOU GOT THIS' as they face the challenges together.
Meanwhile, Noah Lyles, known for his incredible achievements, including winning the 100M at last year’s Paris Championships and the trifecta at the 2023 Budapest Championships, brings a powerful story to the campaign. With hopes of breaking records, Lyles has been training diligently alongside his long-time coach, Lance Brauman. The campaign's visual will depict Coach Brauman conveying messages of encouragement and faith through their interactions, emphasizing the significance of trust that has developed over their years of challenge and triumph.
The upcoming campaign film will spotlight Lyles and Brauman's dynamic during training. The relationship is filled with mutual respect and motivation, exemplified by their banter and camaraderie, showcasing what it truly means to support each other in athletics. The film encapsulates the essence of teamwork and individual resilience, encouraging viewers to internalize the central message of the campaign.
In addition to the campaign film set to debut soon, Adidas will also roll out large outdoor advertisements featuring Rashid Muratake and Noah Lyles across various locations in Tokyo. The aim is to cheer on these athletes striving for excellence while sending the uplifting message, 'You Are Not Alone. You Got This,' to inspire fellow athletes and supporters.
With this campaign, Adidas not only aims to celebrate athletic prowess but also to bond the community through shared motivation and encouragement. The full campaign will officially commence on August 28, 2025, with supplementary content available on their designated websites and YouTube channel, encouraging everyone to join in the spirit of support.
