Spotlight on the EHS7

The luxury electric SUV EHS7, built on the TianGong platform, was a key highlight of the exhibition. It boasts remarkable features such as ultra-fast charging capability, enabling the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes. This innovative feature allows drivers to quickly recharge during routine coffee breaks while facilitating long-distance travel.

Furthermore, the EHS7 is equipped with rear-wheel steering—an uncommon feature in its class—and a dynamic chassis control system with variable damping. These cutting-edge technologies complement smart driving systems, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), ensuring a modern and comfortable driving experience.

Commitment to Safety

The EHS7 integrates a sturdy “9H4M” cage structure composed of 74% high-strength steel, with key areas reaching a maximum tensile strength of 2000 MPa, thereby offering a fortress-like protection for its occupants. Additionally, the EHS7's battery system employs a honeycomb structure and multi-layer sealing technology, achieving a waterproof rating of IPX8, ensuring durability and reliability even in extreme conditions.

Introducing the EH7

Another significant offering presented was the HONGQI EH7, a premium vehicle in the luxury electric car segment that delivers performance on a par with supercars. It features a high-performance electric drive achieving a staggering 22,500 RPM, which translates to an impressive output of 455 kW and 756 Nm of torque. This configuration ensures exhilarating acceleration and dynamic driving performance. With a WLTP range of 655 km, the EH7 provides exceptional endurance for long journeys.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, HONGQI has ambitious plans to introduce ten new models across Europe in the next five years. Since October 14, pre-orders for both the EH7 and EHS7 have been available in Europe, signaling HONGQI's strong market entry.
