Note that the Tokyo University of Agriculture store will have special offerings on December 19th, only one day prior to the main event.

A Unique Story Behind the Celebration

Saza Coffee's founder and president, Taro Suzuki, celebrates his birthday on December 19 as well. This year, as he turns 56, he reflects on the significant journey that has led Saza Coffee to where it stands today. Recently, Suzuki has focused on innovative coffee preservation techniques. Notably, since 2020, he has worked on the Saza Cup-On, an experimental method that enhances the retention of coffee aroma and extends its shelf life by up to five years. This year's festival theme revolves around embracing both serendipity and the joy of coffee.

Exceptional Coffee Experience

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy top-quality Geisha coffee at surprisingly affordable prices. The Fuku Blend will be available on a progressive pricing model, increasing by one yen each year—a tradition at Saza Coffee that emphasizes gratitude and sharing good fortune with customers. The blend will predominantly feature beans from the esteemed Esmeralda Farm, renowned for its high-quality Geisha coffee.

In addition to tasting events, Saza Coffee aims to provide a unique experience with their one-cup brewing coffee that adheres to extended five-year freshness. They encourage coffee lovers to come in and taste their blends, potentially introducing them to a new favorite.

A Glimpse of the Future: The 2025 Celebration

Looking ahead, Saza Coffee will continue its tradition of celebrating around the holidays with an annual festival featuring special blends. Expected highlights include limited releases of high-quality Geisha coffee at discounted rates, including the exceptional Fuku Blend Limited. This coffee is made from a select mix of fantastic beans designed to offer remarkable flavors.
