Born in 1934 in Yuki City, Tada Tomio is a distinguished immunologist and an esteemed professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo. With a deep appreciation for Noh, he has been involved in creating new Noh works. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to science and culture, including the Nagai Nagayoshi Award and the Asahi Prize. His writings also explore the intersections of life and art, underlining Noh’s role in contemporary cultural discourse. Sadly, he passed away in 2010.

Mori Takashiro, born in 1937 in Tokyo, is a revered photographer known for his remarkable images of traditional Japanese performing arts, including Noh, Kyōgen, and Kabuki. He has held exhibitions across the United States, sharing his unique vision through various photograph collections.
