Hulk Foundation's Urgent Relief Operation in Kumamoto

In response to the devastating earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture, the Hulk Foundation, based in Shibuya, Tokyo, has mobilized to provide immediate support to affected regions. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all impacted by this tragedy.

Operating under the theme "Connecting Lives", the foundation has been actively strategizing support efforts focused on what is required in the aftermath of such disasters. Starting from August 6, 2026, the foundation began its ground-level support activities in Kumamoto Prefecture.

Delivery of Essential Supplies

To aid the area most severely affected by the quake, the Hulk Foundation utilized a two-ton truck to transport crucial supplies directly to the impacted communities. The cargo included vital items, such as drinking water, preserved food, diapers, sanitary products, and even pet food for those families with fur babies. These supplies were meticulously delivered to both the Hikawa Town Hall and nearby elementary schools within Hikawa Town.

On-the-Ground Assessments

Hulk Foundation representatives thoroughly assessed the local situation, delivering each essential item while maintaining respect for the community's needs. Throughout the delivery process, the foundation prioritized providing the necessary essentials for those affected, including:

- Drinking water for 300 individuals
- Diapers for 200 individuals
- Sanitary products for 300 individuals
- Preserved food for 500 individuals
- Body cleansing wipes for 100 individuals
- Pet food in 600 bags
- Pet sheets for 300 uses

This support is not only for the displaced residents but for their beloved pets as well, emphasizing the connection between families and their furry companions.
