Protiviti's Birdies for Meals Campaign with Golf Stars Aims to Combat Hunger

Protiviti's 'Birdies for Meals' Campaign 2025

In an innovative move to address food insecurity, the global consulting firm Protiviti has launched its annual 'Birdies for Meals' campaign, aiming to donate over 100,000 meals to those in need. By partnering with professional golfers Matt Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Kupcho, Protiviti seeks to incorporate a sporty twist into its philanthropic efforts, promising a significant contribution to U.S. Hunger in 2025.

The Campaign Overview

The campaign operates on a simple yet impactful premise: for every birdie, eagle, or ace made by Fitzpatrick and Kupcho during the Major Championships throughout the 2025 season, Protiviti will donate meals to the non-profit organization U.S. Hunger. Additionally, the firm has pledged a base donation of 10,000 meals for each of the nine Majors. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as each birdie scored by either golfer will earn an extra 500 meals for the cause.

The 2024 campaign was already a success, with more than 77,000 meals donated. This year, thanks to the various Majors scheduled, Protiviti is poised to significantly raise that number, particularly with the golfers' talents on full display.

Achievements So Far

During the PGA Championship held in May 2025, Fitzpatrick managed to score an impressive 16 birdies and one eagle, amounting to tremendous contributions toward the meal donations. His efforts combined with the initial pledge resulted in a total of 18,500 meals donated from that one Major alone. Meanwhile, Kupcho also made her mark by achieving eight birdies in the Chevron Championship, leading to an additional 14,000 meals being supplied. As of now, the campaign has successfully secured 49,000 meals this season, building toward its goal of 100,000.

“Ensuring access to food is fundamental, and we’ve been actively contributing to this issue for over a decade through various community initiatives,” stated Joseph Tarantino, Protiviti’s President and CEO. The enthusiasm and dedication showcased by both golfers will undoubtedly inspire even more generosity as the golf season progresses.

Your Opportunity to Help

In a move to engage the public, Protiviti is inviting everyone to join the fight against hunger through direct donations to the campaign. Those contributions will assist in directing resources to individuals in need—both within the U.S. and internationally—in collaboration with U.S. Hunger and Convoy of Hope.
