Smart Education Partners with South Korea's Cellbig for Innovative Educational Services

Smart Education and Cellbig's Partnership

Smart Education Inc., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, has struck a significant partnership with South Korea's Cellbig, a notable player in the field of educational technology (EdTech). The agreement took place on October 22, 2025, in Tokyo, and serves as a foundation for collaborative projects aimed at enhancing education in Japan.

The partnership focuses on merging advanced educational content and management platforms developed by Cellbig, which incorporates augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (XR), and artificial intelligence (AI), with Smart Education's extensive distribution network across Japan. This collaboration has given rise to a new service named "Keezle Global" which aims to revolutionize educational methodologies within the Japanese market.

Harnessing Strengths from Both Countries

Both entities plan to maximize their strengths through this synergy. Smart Education boasts a network of over 1,500 educational and rehabilitation institutions across Japan, while Cellbig has implemented its "Keezle" program in approximately 1,000 kindergartens in South Korea. The agreement allows for the adaptation of ICT-based educational content and programs, previously tested in South Korea, to suit the Japanese educational landscape.

A Focused Collaboration Structure

Following the contract signing, the two companies established a collaborative committee that will oversee four key areas: products, content, business, and support. They intend to initiate pilot programs in various educational institutions to gather practical feedback from users. This responsiveness to feedback will ensure that the services developed are tailored specifically to the needs of Japan's educational environment.

Statements from Leadership

Lee Sang Ro, CEO of Cellbig, emphasized, "Our priority is not merely to showcase cutting-edge technology, but to enhance the classroom experience for children and teachers. Our goal with Keezle Global is to adapt it to fit the Japanese educational style and to yield significant outcomes at the implementation sites."

Daito Iketani, President of Smart Education, shares a complementary vision: "Our aim is to transform 'play' into 'achievement.' We want to ignite children's desire to explore and learn in a fun way, helping them develop essential skills through engaging services."

Future Prospects

Both Smart Education and Cellbig share a united vision to create a platform that brings about positive changes in the educational experience for children through technology. They are committed to delivering well-suited educational content and enriching learning experiences within Japan's educational framework. By fostering innovation and inclusivity in education, this partnership aims to make a lasting impact on the future of learning in Japan.
