EPRI Unveils Open Power AI Consortium



On March 20, 2025, EPRI launched the Open Power AI Consortium, a global initiative aimed at enhancing the adoption of artificial intelligence within the power sector. First Steps Toward AI Integration



The launch event at NVIDIA’s GTC highlighted a significant milestone—the introduction of the first set of domain-specific Generative AI models (GenAI) for electric and power systems. These models, developed in collaboration with Articul8 and NVIDIA, aim to advance energy transformation efforts. Early access will be provided through NVIDIA’s NIM microservice, showcasing the commitment to rapid deployment and innovation.
