Cannabis College of America Introduces Innovative Online Education for Future Cannabis Professionals

Cannabis College of America Launches Online Programs

The Cannabis College of America (CCA) is excited to unveil its new online cannabis education platform with the grand opening set for April 20, 2025. Kickstarting its educational journey, the first classes will begin on April 22, 2025. Founded by Larry Nagle, a dedicated advocate for cannabis education, CCA aims to provide comprehensive training to prepare the next generation of cannabis industry professionals.

Larry Nagle emphasized, "At the Cannabis College of America, our greatest product is our graduates. We’re not just teaching cultivation—we’re building careers.” With this vision, CCA is committed to delivering a curriculum that is deeply intertwined with industry demands and practical applications.

Comprehensive Curriculum

The heart of CCA’s offerings includes a robust suite of five carefully structured programs, each designed to address different facets of cannabis and hemp cultivation:

1. Core Program: This introductory course caters to novice growers, guiding them through the life cycle of cannabis from seed to harvest.
2. Master Medical Methodology: Aimed at professionals looking to enter or move up within the medical marijuana sector, this course includes practical applications to enhance their expertise.
3. Industrial Hemp: This two-part course delves into hands-on product development focusing on essential products such as biofuel, textiles, and hempcrete.
4. Genetics and Strain Development: Students receive immersive training in cannabis breeding and the crucial selection of phenotypes.
5. AI-Integrated Robotics for Greenhouse Farm Management: This advanced course addresses the integration of automation technology in commercial cannabis cultivation.

Designed and taught by industry professionals, each course incorporates interactive assignments and virtual labs that ensure students gain practical skills essential for career readiness. Additionally, successful completion of any program leads to degrees or Certificates of Completion, raising the bar for cannabis education.

Experienced Leadership at CCA

Larry Nagle is not alone in this endeavor; he is joined by Scott Burgett, COO of Green Earth Cannaceuticals and CCA’s Lead Instructor. Together, they offer a blend of academic integrity, practical industry knowledge, and a shared passion for responsible cannabis cultivation. Nagle's decades of experience in cultivation, paired with Burgett’s extensive background in healthcare and horticulture, promise to provide an education that is both scientifically rigorous and commercially relevant.

Meet Scott Burgett

Scott Burgett, a U.S. Army disabled veteran and co-founder of Green Earth Cannaceuticals, brings a wealth of experience from both medical and agricultural fields to CCA. His journey began in medicine, where he worked as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist before diving into the cannabis sector.

Under his stewardship, the Green Solution Florida quickly turned from a modest operation into the state’s largest medical cannabis grow. By overseeing a network involved in genetics trials for hemp cultivation projects across multiple states, Burgett continues to drive innovation in cannabis science.

Flexible Learning Options

Currently, the Core Program is accessible online through an easily navigable platform, accommodating a variety of learner schedules. CCA's prospective plans also include establishing a traditional campus in Central Pennsylvania to enhance the educational experience further.

Prospective students are encouraged to explore the flexible course offerings which cater to the needs of career professionals, students, and cannabis enthusiasts.
