About LOVESOUP
Born in Thailand and raised in Australia, LOVESOUP is an illustrator and artist who moved to Tokyo in 2018. With a solid background in architecture, design, and advertising, her designs span various genres, including stationery and apparel. LOVESOUP has gained recognition not just for her distinctive art but also for the lifestyle content she shares on her YouTube channel. Her beloved character, Pepper, is a home-loving individual who cohabits with her cat, Ronnie.
The Collaboration
The partnership between KNT365 and LOVESOUP commenced in 2023, showcasing previously released knit pieces that highlight LOVESOUP's playful colors and humor. The designs resonate with audiences across generations, blending unique character features with fashion elements. These pieces serve as a seamless connection between art and everyday life.
KNT365's products are crafted from recycled PET bottles, produced domestically primarily at their factory in Osaka. This time around, the collaboration introduces new works centered on the character Pepper. The artwork portrays her humorous identity as a homebody, using the signature knitting styles of KNT365’s popular collections, "Knitty" and "Fourty."
The Knitty Artist Edition
Priced at 7,700 yen (tax included), the Knitty Artist Edition showcases a vibrant yellow design that is sure to be a standout in any outfit. The illustration of Pepper, who feels right at home with her surroundings, adds an adorable twist to the product. The Knitty bag, which has garnered love since its inception, is lightweight (approximately 94g, similar to a banana) yet boasts a weight capacity of up to 70kg.
