Generac Holdings Inc., a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and supplying energy solutions, has announced the appointment of Niccolò Borracchini as the new Executive Vice President - International, effective immediately. This strategic move comes in the wake of Paolo Campinoti's retirement, who has served the company for over 30 years. Borracchini's new position signifies a critical moment for Generac as it continues expanding its footprint in international markets outside the United States and Canada.
"Paolo is a revered figure who played a pivotal role in transforming Pramac from a local Italian company into a global brand in power generation," said Aaron Jagdfeld, Chairman and CEO of Generac. Campinoti, who joined Pramac in 1993 and led the company through its acquisition by Generac in 2016, will provide strategic consulting to support the growth of Generac’s Commercial and Industrial sectors internationally.
Borracchini has been with Pramac since 2015, starting as Corporate General Manager. His expertise has been instrumental during the integration phase following Generac's acquisition. As he progressed within the organization, Borracchini took on increasing responsibilities in guiding international support functions and commercial activities. He was promoted to Senior Vice President - International in 2024, reflecting his leadership capabilities and vision for growth in global markets.
In his new role, Borracchini will be a part of Generac's Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to Jagdfeld. He expressed his gratitude for the promotion, highlighting the importance of building on the legacy left by Campinoti. "I am honored to take on this new role and build upon the extraordinary legacy that Paolo has created over the past thirty years," said Borracchini. His vision includes enhancing Generac's global presence, strengthening customer relationships, and advancing the company’s mission of promoting smarter energy solutions.
Before joining Pramac, Borracchini gained experience in private equity at MPVenture and Emisys Capital, focusing on medium-sized enterprises in various sectors. He holds a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Siena. Additionally, he spent a year at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany as part of the Erasmus program. Since 2024, Borracchini has also served on the Board of the ITS Energy and Environment Foundation as Vice President.
Generac has positioned itself as a leader in integrated energy solutions since its inception in 1959.
