CertaPro Painters® Launches the Seventh Annual Paint it Pink Campaign
CertaPro Painters®, celebrated as North America's most referred painting company, has kicked off its much-anticipated Paint it Pink campaign for the seventh consecutive year. This initiative is a powerful partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and Breast Cancer Canada, aimed at generating funds and awareness for breast cancer research.
Since its inception in 2019, the Paint it Pink campaign has made significant strides, raising over $700,000 for impactful breast cancer research. This year, the company has set its sights on raising an impressive $165,000 during the months of October and November. This ambitious goal is expected to fund approximately 3,300 hours of critical research or allow 66 patients to participate in a BCRF-supported clinical trial.
Community Engagement and Fundraising Initiatives
CertaPro Painters is urging all franchisees to take part in this campaign by donating a percentage of their earnings from every painting project completed within the campaign timeline. Local businesses are also being invited to join, participating in fundraising activities that enhance community interaction and support.
Activities planned for this year include step challenges and painting various landmarks pink around communities to further stimulate engagement and showcase support for breast cancer research. This community-centric approach not only raises funds but also fosters a spirit of solidarity among participants and residents alike.
Mike Stone, the CEO of CertaPro Painters, shares the heartfelt story behind the Paint it Pink campaign. He notes, "The inspiration behind Paint it Pink came from a heartfelt journey of loss and a desire to make a difference. At CertaPro, we are committed to standing by those affected by breast cancer, including our employees and franchisees. Our initiative epitomizes our dedication to community support and embodies our core values in action. We are proud to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Breast Cancer Canada in their relentless pursuit of prevention and a cure for breast cancer."
Transformational Support: A Personal Story
An inspiring aspect of this initiative is the collaboration with BCRF's FAB-U-WISH program, which provides special wishes to women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Through this partnership, CertaPro Painters has been able to offer home painting services as part of these wishes. This year, CertaPro Painters of York, PA, had the honor of transforming the home of Trisha Lane, a woman facing the challenges of breast cancer.
In expressing her gratitude, Trisha stated, "Having my house painted means more than just a fresh coat of color—it feels like a renewal. It's a reminder that even during hard times, my home can be a place of light, healing, and hope. I feel a sense of comfort and pride every time I walk through the door. We are forever grateful for the CertaPro team, who not only took on this project but executed it perfectly, allowing us the foundation to build upon, so that we can create the home we always envisioned."
How to Get Involved
The Paint it Pink campaign is an open invitation for everyone to become a part of this significant cause. Individuals, local businesses, and community members can contribute, making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
