From October 9th to 11th, 2026, Kanagawa's Roboteras will host an interactive experience featuring the AI companion robot, ElliQ. Developed through a collaboration between Kanematsu Corporation and Intuition Robotics Ltd., this event aims to demonstrate how ElliQ can actively support the lives of seniors. Underlining community connection and health management, ElliQ offers a unique approach that goes beyond traditional conversational AI.

ElliQ is designed to engage with elderly users, fostering continuous relationships. It not only chats but also assists with health reminders, medication management, and encourages involvement in daily activities. With many seniors in the U.S. already benefiting from ElliQ’s capabilities, this event aims to introduce its features to a broader audience in Japan, particularly among families of elderly individuals, as well as caregivers and professionals in the health and welfare sectors.

At Roboteras, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with ElliQ firsthand. The event is open to everyone, especially those aged 60 and above, as well as their family members. Without needing a prior reservation, visitors can drop by to witness the functionalities of ElliQ, which will be explained by knowledgeable staff members. They will provide insights into how this innovative technology can integrate into daily life for seniors.
