Experience the New 'Barcarolle' Collection at Ambientec Gallery Tokyo's Special Event
This autumn, Ambientec is launching a new collection entitled 'Barcarolle', coinciding with prominent design events in the Roppongi area, including the 'ELLE DECOR DESIGN WALK 2025' and 'DESIGNART TOKYO 2025'. The highlight of this seasonal event is the Synesthesia exhibition, taking place from October 24 to November 16 at the Ambientec Gallery Tokyo, which recently opened its doors in May.
The Synesthesia event, themed around the intersection of light, scent, and sound, will feature a collaboration with Argentine fragrance laboratory
FUEGUIA 1833. This unique partnership will see the showcasing of lighting installations alongside aromatic experiences in both galleries, creating a multisensory journey that is unlike any other.
Introducing 'Barcarolle'
The term 'Barcarolle' refers to a traditional boat song originating from the gondoliers of Venice, encapsulating the essence of serene waters and vibrantly lit streets. Inspired by this imagery, the new collection introduces an original mode of light that creates a reflective ambiance reminiscent of Venice's enchanting waterways. The installation allows for multiple 'Barcarolle' pieces to be arranged together, evoking a picturesque scene as if the city lights are twinkling on the surface of a dusk-kissed lake.
