About Taku Miyamoto
Taku Miyamoto, born in 1957 in Wakayama Prefecture, transitioned from Kanagawa University to a career with Asahi Golf Photography, later branching out as a freelance golf photographer in 1984. His experience includes coverage of over 100 international tournaments, such as The Masters and the U.S. Open. He expertly balances the art of capturing the game with a deep understanding of the human psyche reflected through light and shadow. Miyamoto has also gained recognition for his photography of golf courses around the world, collaborating with various international golf magazines. His accolades include awards like the
Johnny Walker Golf Journalist Award for Best Photograph in 1998.
