His earlier career involved more than two decades at Hertz, where he ascended through the ranks to become Senior Vice President of North American Operations, overseeing operations worth $6.6 billion with a workforce of 23,000 employees.
Flynn expressed his enthusiasm about his new role at Scientific Games. He noted, "The company's combination of global operations, technology, and customer delivery aligns closely with my experience. I am excited to bring that expertise to a talented team committed to customer success." He is set to join the Scientific Games group at the upcoming World Lottery Summit in Sydney, scheduled from November 9 to 13, where he will engage with lottery customers, partners, and industry leaders.
Founded in 1973, Scientific Games has established itself as a global leader in games, technology, analytics, and services that aid government-sponsored lottery and sports betting programs. The company prides itself on its innovative approach across various sectors, including instant games and data analytics. As it moves forward, Flynn's leadership is expected to enhance the company's capabilities, ensuring they stay at the forefront of a competitive industry.
