The Introduction of YuLife

YuLife, developed by a UK-based company, is a fun and engaging application designed to motivate employees to adopt healthier lifestyles. The app offers a variety of activities like walking, cycling, and brain training, allowing users to earn coins for completing daily programs. These coins can be redeemed for gift cards or donated to environmental organizations, creating a system that encourages ongoing participation. Currently, YuLife has been adopted by over 1,000 businesses in the UK with over a million users and holds high ratings on customer review platforms for its effectiveness in boosting employee engagement.

Kenta Takanaishi remarked, “Employees feel motivated to walk more or engage in physical activities, as they love seeing their rankings improve on the in-app leaderboard.” This competition adds a fun aspect to physical activity, fostering camaraderie across different departments, making wellness a collective effort rather than an individual task.
